On Saturday, February 1st, golfers, families, and community members gathered at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course to celebrate the Kick Off To Golf event. Golfers of all skill levels came together for a complimentary event that supported The Boys & Girls Club of Encinitas while providing a fun day of golf, entertainment, food and drinks.
Golfers had the unique opportunity to get fitted by the industry's top brands, most located right next door in San Diego. Fitters included TaylorMade, Cobra, Callaway, Titleist, PING, PXG, Bridgestone, and Odyssey. Whether it was trying out the latest gear or improving their swing, participants enjoyed complimentary instruction from PGA Professional Instructors.
Golfers benefited from free injury screenings provided by Tee it Up Physical Therapy & Wellness. On the course, Henrik Lundqvist offered tips to fix the slice and shared fundamentals for a better swing. Heidi Richardson, PGA, taught the essentials of P.G.A. Position, Grip & Aim, and shared strategies for adding distance to drives. These expert-led sessions were a highlight for golfers looking to sharpen their skills.
Guests enjoyed a variety of local favorites and sipped on craft drinks from Cutwater, Duckfoot, Burgeon, Superior, The Ranch Grill, and Hot Dog On A Stick.
